I am loooving these speckle nails!!! I like how this one looks like mint chocolate chip ice cream! ;D
Essence nail art peel off base coat. I love using this with glitter nail polishes because they can be such a pain to remove with polish remover & a cotton pad. With this you can just peel it off!
Essie mint candy apple
Hard Candy 664 gummy green
Revlon Colorstay 010 top coat. Best top coat I’ve ever used! The finish is incredibly glossy and lasts forever. The base coat from this polish line is also a favorite of mine. I used the Essence for these nails however because I was working with glitter(:
Review: E.L.F. Contouring Blush & Bronzer
I’d like to start by saying thank goodness this was only $3, this product was a mess for me to work with.
I really liked the colors, I thought they were very pretty. However the blush honestly barely even showed up on my skin where as the bronzer went on with way too much pigment (even when using a VERYYY light hand & a very fluffy brush) & it was literally impossible to blend out. All 3 times I tried to use it I had to just cover it up with a powder foundation to get it to look normal.
I probably won’t go through the hassle of returning it, because it was so inexpensive. But I really don’t know what I’ll be doing with this.. ):
A few of my favorite eye looks! Click to enlarge the pics & take a closer look(:
Spring Cleaning DONE! (:
I rearrange so often though that this will probably look different in a matter of days haha!
Review: Ology Body Wash and Milk & Honey Body Lotion
Not much to say about these products, and I have since returned them.
The body wash did not have a lather at all, and was not moisturizing. It smelled wonderful in the bottle, like almonds & honey (my favorite sent). However this smell went away as I was actually using it in the shower.
And the moisturizer also had a nice sweet smell, but was tacky & sticky on my skin for much longer that I would like and was not moisturizing at all ):
Review: Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser
I bought this product initially to use to remove my makeup. I wear waterproof eye makeup and this product contains oil, which is a better base than water based cleansers to remove waterproof makeup. This product only did an okay job at that, it left a lot of eyeliner and mascara behind. It was difficult to really work this into my eyes and lashes due to the fact that if ANY got into my eyes, it burned like a MOTHERRR! And when I went to rinse this cleanser off, it left behind a gross oily residue.
I strongly dislike this product and I can’t find any alternate use for it at all…such a waste, and not cheap either, I remember this product being around $7-$9 >.<
Review: Milani Even-Touch Powder Foundation in 01 Shell
I have been using my MAC Studio Fix Plus Powder Foundation and have been loving it! So when I saw this Milani Powder Foundation at Fred Meyer, I had high hopes that maybe this would be a good, much cheaper substitute.
One thing that sucks about this product is the shade selection. All the stores I’ve seen that have this foundation only have 4 shades! Since I am fair skinned, I grabbed the lightest shade, Shell. Which is a bit yellow for my skin tone, but I still really wanted to try it out.
I apply this with my Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki as a setting powder. I use patting motions, I do not buff it in with swirling motions as this just smears liquid foundation around and uncovers blemishes. I love the smooth finish this gives and it gives very good additional coverage. And for the areas that need even more coverage (over blemishes) I apply more with a powder puff, which gives more coverage than applying with a brush.
This product did a decent job not breaking down with my oily skin except around my nose, which is ALWAYS my problem area. It didn’t really control my oils, and I did need a few minor touch ups. But that didn’t bug me too much, because NOTHING can control my oil haha(:
The only reason I won’t be replacing my MAC Studio Fix Plus with this Milani Powder Foundation is because it simply doesn’t match my skin tone as well.
Review: Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray - Oil Control UPDATED!
I spray this onto my entire face after my primer before foundation, and then again after I’ve applied liquid foundation but before my setting powder. This product does not provide amazing oil control for my face throughout the entire day, my skin still gets oily after a few hours.
However, this product does do a great job at increasing the longevity of all my foundations! Using it after my primer but before my foundation does a great job of prepping my skin by absorbing any oils ensuring a clean & smooth liquid foundation application. And using this spray after liquid foundation absorbs any oils in my foundation ensuring a smooth, cake-less application of setting powder! This product is also incredible for freshening up your makeup throughout the day and making it feel like it has been freshly applied. Great for my 9 hour works days or a long night out!
This is my 3rd bottle and I will repurchase again when I use this up(:
Hope this review was helpful!
